A.P. Scaffolding Solutions Ltd built a scaffolding bridge in Limassol in collaboration with Limassol Municipality, connecting the two banks at the Garyllis River delta. The crossing uses scaffolding components to form a continuous deck over the river channel near the seafront.
The project demonstrates a practical application of scaffolding beyond building façades: forming a link between two sides of a public space.
The river channel separates the paths on either bank. The bridge spans that gap, joining the approaches at both ends and creating a direct route across the water. Its position near the river mouth makes the relationship between the crossing, the surrounding paths and the coastline clear in the aerial photographs.

The photographs show the braced scaffolding structure beneath the deck, with guardrails along both sides of the crossing. Views taken during installation reveal the components before the side banners were fitted, while the finished views show how the bridge connects to the adjoining paths.
For Scaffolding Solutions, this project with Limassol Municipality is an example of using scaffolding to address a specific access need. Here, the structure itself forms the crossing, rather than providing access around a building.
