Scaffolding Solutions has always sought to support the community, culture and sports of the island. In this context we are proud to announce our support and sponsoring of the latest cultural event, the “NOSTALGIA” concert! The proceedings of this event will be used to support various charity organization of the Ammochostos area.
Taking place on September 21, at 20:00 at Kapparis Bay at Protaras, NOSTALGIA is a music performance on memory ancestry and love.
“ Nostalgia (Greek word from nostòs, return, and àlgos, pain and sorrow) is a special emotion that mixes sadness and happiness when you are far away from your beloved, or because of past events that you want to relive; at the same moment you feel even something like happiness because in the past, with your beloved, or in your place, or in your fatherland, you felt happy, and now you miss all of them.
In the performance will be played musical moments, Greek and Italian songs, Arias and Duets from Opera, but, as well, moments taken from the Cyprus’ Mythology and History. Aphrodite will appear from the sea of Cyprus to bring to the Humanity Love, and beautiful Love’s stories will be sung by Soprano and Tenor.
Cypriot singers, Cypriot and Italian actors, a small orchestra composed by seven musicians will play together: 12 artists on stage!
Between them the international Cypriot soprano Maria Papaioannou, the Cypriot singer Nicos Mylonas, and a special guest: Leonard Furda, Wiener Kammera Orchester 1st violin.
Two young and talented Cypriot musicians, Giorgos Kolias and Konstantinos Makaritis, will play and compose new musical pieces and arrange, for small orchestra, all the music.
Beautiful and nostalgic stories, connected between them, develop the same subject: LOVE. ”
